A sitemap gives the spider a rapid guide to the structure
of your site and what has changed since last time. SEO is connected to strong sales funnels and often shows a high return on investment (ROI). Choose your keywords. Make sure they have good volume, aren’t too difficult, and suit customer intent. The best keywords are ones that don’t have much competition. Try long-tail keywords — these are three- to six-word keywords that are extremely specific and tend to have less competition for them.
Backlinks (inbound links) affect rankings more than anything else
It’s easier to tweak stuff in Google Plus in order for them to get better social signals to integrate into their ranking factors. When it comes to
SEO, Do your mathematical analysis - the primary resources
are there for the taking. Its as easy as KS2 Maths
or ABC. Its that simple! monitoring for keywords and changes in your website’s backlink profile is one of the most tedious tasks. Having a few 404 errors will not ruin your rankings completely, but they can lower your user experience, which ultimately can affect your SEO performance. Google’s SEO Starter Guide states that, “If your URL contains relevant words, this provides users and search engines with more information about the page than an ID or oddly named parameter would.” In other words, including keywords – or at least clear and direct information – in your URL is a best practice.
Use Hashtags (Wisely) and Categorize Your Boards
When the Web first gained popularity, it became important for a business to have a website. As online activity became more prevalent, it became important for a business to include a domain name in advertising and other materials. Now things have shifted again, and it’s vital for a business to rank well in search results both for its brand name and for queries relevant to the business. Search engines were nothing

Make sure every page of your site contains at least several hundred words of helpful, well-written, relevant content; and optimize all your title tags and meta descriptions while you're at it. In organic search, you don’t have
to continually pay to be seen,
and once you’ve reached the first
page of Google (and you have
quality content and a trustworthy
site), you’ll often stick there for a
long period of time (depending on
the amount of competition).
Search Data as Economic Indicator
It has long been understood that Google’s ranking algorithm is complex (by design). When people conduct research, they want up-to-date, accurate information. That’s why it’s important to keep content updated. For many content marketers, organic traffic earned through SEO is like a holiday bonus: It’s cool if it happens, but no one is planning their monthly budget around it. We asked an SEO Specialist
, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Ensuring that your content is effective in connecting with the prospects searching for your products or services is crucial. Your web pages should be geared towards focusing on individual topics instead of individual keywords."

Don't be a link hoard; you're going to create content, so use it to gain favor with other people. I'll go more into depth below with specific tactics on linking out, but in general, you only have something to gain when you’re linking out. Typically, people visit Google to help them solve a problem or they’re looking for a specific product. If a person goes looking for a company or product by name, Google will steer them towards what they’re looking for.
